Urban Decay F&F Sale

Just wanted to write a quick post in case you don't already know...
Urban Decay is having their Friends & Family Sale!

Save 20% off using code FFHolidaySale
(Included in the sale are items in the sale section!)

Urban Decay is my all-time favorite brand.
If you're new to the brand or are looking for recommendations,
here are some of my favorites:

Regular price: $48.00
20% off sale price: $38.40

Urban Decay is known for their bold, bright colors. However, if you're not into rocking brights, Urban Decay created a palette of neutrals that will please those looking for a more natural, toned-down look. This kit includes 12 eyeshadows, shadow brush, and a mini potion primer.

Regular Price: $55.00
20% off sale price: $44.00

If you like neutral looks but also love the occasional bright look, this is the palette for you! This palette contains 15 brand new shades and is a nice mixture of neutrals, brights, and shadows to create a smokey eye. See my full review/swatches here.

Regular price: $19
20% off sale price: $15.20

One of Urban Decay's cult favorite products. I discovered UDPP four years ago and have since gone through countless bottles (now tubes!). UDPP makes your eyeshadow last longer, makes it brighter, and prevents creasing. Comes in four shades. I love the Original and Greed (matte) version.

Also available in XXL professional size (150% more than the original bottles) for $24 (regularly $30) or if you don't mind the vintage bottles they have them on sale for $8 (regular sale price $10).

Regular Price $18 (some $9)
20% sale price: $14.40 (some $7.20)

I'm in love with these eyeliners. My favorite and most used is the carbon black shade, Zero. I even have quite a few backups. Like the name implies, these pencils glide-on easily (no tugging or dragging!) which makes it the perfect eyeliner for beginners or those without a steady hand. They come in so many different shades and value kits, check out all the eyeliners out here.

Dates: 12am PST 11/01/11- 11:59pm 11/05/11

I'm still debating getting anything as I just placed a makeup order during Sephora F&F sale.
If you're taking advantage of UD 20% off sale, let me know what you're getting below! :)

Urban Decay Fall 2011 Collection

Here are some pictures & swatches for some of the things I picked up from Urban Decay's Fall collection. I only picked up a few things to start with due to the fact I just purchased a few things from their Friends & Family Sale.

I have my eye on their 15 Anniversary Palette (15 new e/s colors), which is currently out of stock (UD says it will be back) on UrbanDecay.com. I also want to check out their new brow tint, but I'm waiting until I see them in person. With my light eyebrows, it can be hard to find a color that matches well. Most blonde shades are too dark for me.

♥24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion

♥Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Crush (hot pink)
& Punch Drunk (bright orange cream)

Note: These new lip colors are exclusive to Sephora.

Left: Punch Drunk
Right: Crush

Where to Buy: UrbanDecay.com & Sephora (lipsticks found here)

Urban Decay F&F Haul

Urban Decay recently had their Friends & Family 25% off sale. Urban Decay is my favorite brand. If fact, the majority of my makeup collection is Urban Decay. Glad I only bought a few things because their Fall Collection (next blog post) came out two days later which I also had to sample.

Here's what I picked up during the sale...

Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden: $19
This primer is described as a matte tawny shade. Although original primer potion dries clear, their other primers have color to them. Eden is great to brighten the eye and I noticed it really helps evens out any discoloration on & around the eyelid area.

Eyeshadow Primer Potion Professional Size: $29
I have been religiously using UDPP for over four years now. It not only helps my makeup stay put longer but eyeshadow is so much easier to apply due to its smooth, creamy texture. I was so happy when Urban Decay finally changed the packaging to a squeeze tube because I could never get the last bit of product out. So when I saw UDPP not only in a squeeze tube but in a "professional size" (150% more product!), I knew I had to pick it up.

Lipstick in 5150 $22
Although I dislike the packaging of UD lipsticks (those little swords are dangerous!), I did fall in love with this coral red color. It is semi-sheer but the color is buildable. This lipstick also has glitter but it is tiny. I love this color for summer- it reminds me of how your lips look after eating a cherry popsicle! The only downside to this lipstick is the chemical taste, which after purchasing and doing some research, found out others have complained about this as well.
